FAQs
How do you ensure donations are used effectively?
We are committed to transparency and accountability. All donations directly support our programs, and we track every distribution, collect feedback from families, and provide regular updates to donors. We also keep administrative costs low and work with volunteers to maximize impact.
Can I donate items instead of money?
Yes! We accept new school supplies, non-perishable food, and seasonal items. Please contact us to confirm current needs and arrange a drop-off or pickup.
Do you partner with other organizations?
Absolutely. We partner with schools, grassroots groups, and local businesses in Calgary, as well as community leaders and farming networks in Burundi. These partnerships help us stay connected to the people we serve and expand our impact sustainably.
How can I get involved?
There are many ways to help! You can volunteer to assist with outreach, fundraiisng, or help us connect families with resources. We also welcome donations, whether one-time or monthly to support our food security and education initiatives. Visit our “Get Involved” page to learn more.
